I am thinking of working on new services for sbbs, like gemini, which is a simplified HTTPS replacement, along with its unencrypted friend called spartan. I may also leverage gopher to replace pygopherd.

As I look at the current gopher service with SBBS right now, I would really like the "Text File" Section to be included, if it is not somehow put into the normal files section when I put some files into it. We shall see what is needed to be done. In all, I think that could be a BBS-ish replacement for the wiki servers I have been working with, if one can edit these text files through the system. After all, the webified BBS is really only supposed to be a window into the BBS, not a place to glom on non-BBS services, though you can use the web server for other things as well.
